New MBP - Amazon vs. Brick and Mortar Apple Store

Thoughts please....I feel more comfortable buying from actual physical nearby Apple Store...feel that if get "lemon" can easily exchange in store...even if only minor build quality issue....BUT Amazon can be like $300 cheaper with no tax and rebate...so its tempting...but wonder...like will I end up with Tiger and not Leopard..how do I know its the Matte Screen and not Glossy?....Hassel if minor build quality issue that I want to replace unit...ect???? Thoughts....
