I have an issue where whenever I use my remote for front row, it inadvertently controls my ipod which sits in its dock next to my computer. I have tried pairing the remote to the MBP in exclusion but the remote still controls both devices at the same time. I did not own a remote for the iPod dock before I got my MBP and do not want to ever control my iPod with a remote, is there any way I can "disengage" my apple remote from controlling my iPod so it opnly controls Front Row on my MacBook Pro? The only way that seems possible is pairing a different apple remote with the dock but I don't have another one and do not care to buy one just for this. Would like to know if there are other ways.
