Guess this is my first post here, so lets try this out.

my MBP is about 8 months old, 2 months ago the first battery died, (held no charge, etc), so apple care and got the new battery.

Recently felt the back of my notebook and the battery cover is raised/bent as show in the picture. Checked the serial and it isn't the ones that Apple had a recall on, so not sure whats going on.

Anyone know anything or seen something like this?

remove the battery NOW and call apple to get a replacement, that puffing up can lead to an exploding battery if you continue use. be very careful

Exactly what I was going to say. Hopefully you can deal with using AC power only or not using it for a few days while you wait for the new battery.
