In the space of a week I've put 15 cycles on this battery, and the capacity has dropped to 4585 (Apple's specs page says it should be 4700 brand new). Is that dropping fast, or normal? I only get about 3 hours with internal graphics card, bluetooth off, screen at half brightness, and not doing any intense activity, just browsing and word processing.

I'm also finding that it behaves strangely when running the battery down. Instead of going into sleep mode for a period before shutting off completely, it turns itself off almost completely (no sleep light, won't wake by clicking or space bar after connecting to charger), but reboots back to where I was (documents, Firefox windows open) when I press the power on/off button.

This only happens after a rather long reboot type process, though: first a grey screen with the logo appears, then a line of dots slowly light up from left to right, the whole screen (logo and dots at bottom) jerk to the left and are off-centre while the background colour flicks from pinkish grey to yellowish grey, and a 1/3cm garbled line that looks like tv 'snow' but doesn't move appears at the top of the screen before I get my login prompt.

I also notice that it's running through a LOT of charge when I close the clamshell. If I close it with 30 mins of charge remaining and come back to it a couple of hours later it will have gone into this weird half off/deep sleep thing as described above, and I go through the strange reboot to get it going again.

I hope this makes some sort of sense. What could be going on? ANyone else experiencing this deep sleep phenomenon?
