I recently purchased my first MacBook Pro laptop. I love this thing. However, my 2 iOS devices (iPhone 4S and an iPad1) are both originally sync'd with my old windows PC laptop.

What should I worry about when syncing my iPhone 4S and iPad with my MBP from now on? I am currently deployed, and although I have my MBP, iPhone and iPad with me, I do not have my PC laptop. Should I wait until I get back to sync the devices or am I just worrying for nothing? I don't want to lose anything on my phone or my iPad.

Thanks for your help.

Just setup and use iCloud for syncing, and you won't have any problems. Of course, it doesn't do media (music, videos, etc), and if you sync media with the new computers it likely want to wipe what's already on there, so you can wait until you get back to do that. Shouldn't be a big deal overall, unless you have disks you want to rip and move over.
