We're seeing some early benchmarks of the Radeon pro 460, but it's difficult to judge.

What's a realistic expectation for:

- 4K video editing (FCPX)
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- After effects

with this new computer, assuming top spec, healthy peripherals budget?

As a guy who's always done heavy-lifting tasks on a beefy desktop, and an 11" Air on the go, is the transition to MBP going to drive me crazy? Will the machine feel powerful? Is it realistic to edit 4K video with lots of layers and effects on a laptop like this?

I'm considering it as a possibility, in order to have that nice screen for presentations and working on the go.

My inner nerd is just scared of small GPUs...

No hurry to buy, but I will in the next 0-6 months. Should I just stick with my old habits and wait for new iMacs?

Any insight will help !

If you're not in a rush, then waiting is always a good idea.

You could also order one. Try it for 2 weeks and if you find it lacking, return it.
