Just ran my i5 2.53 8 GIG DDR3 WD Black 500GIG raptor 7200rpm I received Geekbench 2 Score: 4150

Ran my new 15" mbp i7 2.0ghz 4 GIG 500 gig 5400 rpm
Geekbench 2 Score: 8438

Pretty big difference! Will be adding 8 gigs of ram next week!

hmm that guy hitting 10,000 with the 2.2ghz is impressive I wonder if he upgraded the ram or hard drive?

One of those with the 32-bit and 2.2 quad in the screenshots is mine. Geekbench does not take any sort of storage drives into consideration; mine has the high-end OWC 100GB SSD and it got ~10,000 just like everyone else's on the list. I haven't messed with the RAM yet; I can't imagine it would make more than a few hundred points difference between the best and the worst you could put in it, right?

Nice, thats a big difference from my 8150! The cool part about best buy is no restocking fee's, now I need to figure out if I want to spend $400 more for a better processor and video card!
