New MBP graphics comparison

Compared to a 2009 13" 2.26 MBP, how is the GPU setup in the newest MBP release (02/24/2011) going to perform? Looking to upgrade my computer in general, but cannot take a step back in graphics because of my work (ArcGIS via VMFusion); status quo is okay. Just to make sure, also, movie playback isn't affected by this change in setup is it? Thanks to you knowledgeables that respond.

When you're dealing with using the GPU in a studio environment, drivers often matter more than raw GPU speed. While the HD 3000 is similar in speed to the 320M, the graphics drivers are very immature. If I was you I would stick with the 320M for studio work for awhile. You are likely to cause yourself headaches with driver incompatibilities using Intel's IGP until it matures.
