I am planning to buy a new Hard Drive for my MBP and I have a few questions. I was planning to get a larger 250Gb 7200RPM drive.

Is the power consumption THAT much greater than my current 5400RPM drive I have in my MBP now? I have a Santa Rosa btw.

In terms of heat, I know since it spins faster it produces more heat but do you think I'd find my MBP fans revved up a little bit more because of that? Will the notebook run hotter in general?

Also, which brand is best between Toshiba, Seagate, Hitachi, and Fujitsu. I have a Fujitsu in my Macbook Pro already.
