new mbp high-res screens --LED

are the 17" high-res LED screens only on this newest version of the mbp? is the LED the new part of this feature? i ordered a 2.4ghz 17" high res screen in the refurb section of apple...is that a non-LED screen? what would you call it?

It's not LED. Only the 2.5/2.6GHz High Res MBPs are LED.

The one that you ordered is not the led model and its the previous model, I used to own the 17" hi res non led model, the one you've just ordered and its an excellent mbp! I'm very eager to see the new led 17" hi res, I bet it looks even more gorgeous with the led.

Those screens are called CFLs i think... or something close to that
