Was it always this way? Mine presses down fine even at the ends.

It's probably not a tough fix, but if it's a new MBP then I wouldn't bother risking breaking something else under there (if you're not familiar with keyboards.)
 
Are you close to a store? I've only ever dealt with warranty/repair issues at Apple stores, and have always gotten pretty fast service from them.

They will be able to confirm the problem right there on the spot, and you save the time of shipping it to them.
