New MBP Odd Issue!

i have the new mbp with an odd issue. when i type on a blog or when i watch some videos or i try to change my volume the mbp goes threw the sleep then wakeup process and i am back to normal. sometimes it will happen a few times and sometimes it dosent. i can even explain it to apple to recreate it. i am confused what to do.

So, let me get this straight. At random times, your computer goes to sleep and then wakes itself backup?

Try resetting your PRAM. Also, have you installed all updates for your computer? There have been a few updates released for the new MacBooks & MBPs.

i have don that and i am up to date on all updates.

Do you have an Apple remote? Do you let it sit in the bottom part? Sleep is activated by magnets, so it might be the remote that does it.

my apple remote is not near the mbp. i think its a short somewhere but i will have to wait until it just breaks down.

Did you reset the smc?
