So I convinced a buddy of mine to get a mid range MB a few months ago back in summer before the SR MB came out. This MB came with 1gig of ram and can max out at 2 gigs. I would like to get the current MBP with 2 gigs of ram and buy 4 gigs online. Normally I would sell the old ram on ebay. But why do that when my buddy could *potentially* swap out his 1 gig of ram with my 2gigs that I am not using after I upgrade. I went to crucial.com and checked. It said that both were DDR2 PC2-5300 so this should work right?
