Finally updated my core 2 duo macbook pro (still going strong) with the new MBP retina 15 with iris graphics. Got it through great deal via Newegg/Ebay for $300 discount.
When I got it (in one day after order no less), the display was perfect (which was my primary concern). But when I rested my hand to type (right hand), the bottom of the computer noticeably creaked/squeaked. I had this problem with my wife's MBP retina 12 months ago which we exchanged at Best Buy.
Now it is a pain to get an RMA and replacement through Newegg/Ebay, because you need to ship to CA and wait to get a replacement shipped out. At least two weeks process.
So I followed some advice here and bought a pentalobe driver from Amazon. I basically loosened and tightened the front edge screws (four) on the bottom panel. I was suspecting that some of the screws were not evenly tightened. It was easy and the squeaking was completely resolved. Hooray, no returns needed.
Just thought I would let people know in case anyone else has similar problem. Love the Retina screen!
