I got a new MBP 13" around 5 days ago, I turned it in and got a new one because of these random ticking noises.

Regardless, when I startup the new MBP, it's just a white screen, takes a minute to actually bring up the Apple logo itself, then another minute to wait till the "loading" circle takes me to the blue screen.

I know this isn't the normal booting time, there is something wrong. Oh forgot to mention, sometimes, it just shuts off during the boot, then starts back up.
Any advice?

Alec

Have you done a clean innstall of Mac OS X yet?

Maybe the installation is corrupt.

You can also try to repair permissions via Disk Utility.
