One thing I always did with my PC's is stress test them for at least a few days with MemTest, Prime95, IntelBurnTest, HDTune, etc.
Do hardcore Mac users do this as well? Which OS X programs do they use/recommend?
Also, what are some of the issues to look out for on a new MBP? Like checking for dead pixels, light bleeding, etc.
