Okay, I don't get it.
I'm currently running on the power adapter. I went into the energy saver settings, and had a look around. It was configured to always run using the onboard graphics processor. So I changed it so it would be running on the onboard graphics processor while on battery, and dedicated graphics processor while plugged in. It prompted me to confirm a log off/on. I accepted.
Now I'm running on the dedicated graphics processor, but both settings (battery and power adapter) are now set to run on the dedicated processor. It doesn't appear to be an actual "setting", as much as it is an odd way to switch back and forth between the two.
Am I missing something?
