Hi,

I wonder how you guys feel about this?
I personal; think if they introduce the new MBP line and they have no HDD but only a SDD.

Would you buy it if the SDD is less then 500GB and let say alot more then the current basemodel price as i speak in this case about the basemodel of $1199 (€1149 in The Netherlands)

I dont think i would as i have now a Asus with an HDD of 640GB and have alot of space on it with the apps i use

Well 500GB SSD is like price of 5~10 HDDs.
Either way I would buy it.
Then get a data doubler optibay and put a 1TB HDD.

Space isnt a big deal since you can do it yourself.

Price doesnt concern me as well, as long as the 17in model stays under 3500USD.

Well there are higher spec and cheaper Win PC out there.
Some cheap windows PC literally out performs the Mac.

However, with quality warranty, design, and the time they put in this machine to build, I think my 17in deserves a 2600USD.

Well i love to try the mac so thats why i want to start with a basemodel 13" i now have a asus n53S 15" full HD Nvidia GM540M 6GB and 640 HDD, i paid between €900 and €1000 for it

I am willing to have a mac with less power but like to pay max €1300
