New MBP with iMovie 06

Hello, I am planning on ordering my MBP soon but I was wondering if I would still be able to download iMovie 06 from apple.com. Thanks in advance for any answers/comments.

Yes it's a free download for those who don't want to use the 08 version.

thats good, but are you sure? because on the website it says, "iMovie HD 6, previously distributed with iLife ’06, is available for download for those who have purchased and installed iLife ’08." I will not be purchasing iLife 08 because it will be comming with the new MBP i will be getting..

presuming that 'getting' involves buying rather than stealing, then you should be able to download '06 as you have bought '08.
