Hi,

I was surfing the web and found that Comet (for non-UK folks, sorry guys, it's a UK shop) sells the new MBP (basic i5 version MC371B/A) with Office 2008 included for £1,399.

I reserved one straight away, I have until Sunday 430pm to finalise my reservation. Sure enough it was pretty much sold out everywhere, luckily I found a store (6 miles from where I live) that still has a few.

I'm very tempted to buy one!

A week ago I place an order on the Apple website for a similar spec'd MBP with Hi-Res AG screen, but I then cancelled it because I was put off by the hi resolution, the fonts menus etc looked just too small. All I do is photos, music and lots of surfing.

Advice required! Seems like a good deal to me! Office 2008 is worth around £70. When the new Office for Mac comes out (which is rumoured to be much much better) surely I can only buy the 'Upgrade' package, which shouldn't be too expensive...?
