I am trying to move my files from external HDD (ntfs) to my new mac. I have 4 folders on the HDD...Music, My stuff, wifes stuff, pictures. When I plug it up to my mac, the HDD shows up, but only pictures and wifes stuff shows on the drive. Ay idea how to get the rest to show up?

Have you made sure that the folders don't have a period in front of the folder name? OS X automatically hides anything that starts with a period.
yeah....no periods. it is very strange. I have 4 folders on the HDD- my stuff, wife's stuff, music, pictures. pictures and wife's stuff shows up. Music and my stuff does not.
