My contacts are correct on my son's iPhone 6 Plus and he has a new MacBook Pro running El Capitan. But he cannot see all his contacts on his computer that are on his phone. So when he tries to send iMessages, it does not recognize most of his people.
He has checked all the settings he can think of, and it appears his phone contacts are not backed up enough in the cloud, we assume, so that they can be sent to his laptop.
What could we be missing? Could it be about related to the cloud backups? For example, if the iPhone had not backed up Contacts, they would not appear in the computer's Contacts?
Thanks.
