They're not in stock at the 14th St flagship store, and I imagine if the flagship doesn't have them, then no one has them... ???

i bought a 13 inch today.

maybe i should have asked if they had the low end 13" with a 500gb haddrive, but i figured that was something i would have to get online. oh well, happy with my purchase.

I was going to stop by the 14th street store after work and pick one up. Are you sure they don't have any? That would seem odd to me

I was there a half hour ago. Nothing. Maybe they'll get them later.

Are we both talking about the 14th street store/meatpacking district in NYC? I just phoned them and they said they have plenty of stock of all models and to come on over and pick one up. If we are talking about the same store, maybe you should try again? Report back your results if you can-i'm hopefully going over there after work. Good luck!

OK, maybe I should clarify: all their floor models and their pricing displays were for the old models. It's possible they'll sell you a new model if you ask (I didn't), but there are no specs, prices, or demo models.

Just bought a base 13" MBP from Apple, Trafford Centre in the UK:)

Prefer it to the top end Air I had :D

Shall post my brief comparison in a mo.

best buy is what i'm waiting for.

Have a nice no interest deal from them, so may be adding a 2nd 17 inch to the stable.

Vancouver BC has 13s, both 15s, and the 17, but no anti-glare / hi-res 15s and they are not doing any in-store upgrades at the moment.

The rep I bought my 17 from said he had sold two 13s already this morning but it was obvious everyone in the store was pretty much looking at the Airs and the phones with an occasional glance over to the Pros. I saw another 13 being sold as I was being rung out.
