New MBP's, TRIM & Snow Leopard/ Lion

Hi there

i'm planning to get a new 2011 MBP in a few weeks if not sooner. And i plan to get it with a SSD drive.

However i'm a little concerned that TRIM isn't supported by Snow Leopard yet but will come with Lion: http://www.9to5mac.com/53869/lion-supports-trim-why-do-you-want-trim

Should I be concerned that i'm basically going to use the SSD drive with Snow Leopard and no TRIM feature?

Is it better to start off a SSD drive with full TRIM support, therefore wait until Lion is out or do you think there's nothing to be concerned at all?

No, tests have shown that Apple SSDs, while not the fastest around, don't degrade with usage.

It's also quite easy to install an 3rd party SSD like the OWC Mercury, for maximum performance.
