New MBs and MBPs in Stores next week?

bah, nobody knows exactly when but I think a definite update within the next month is a 99% probability because a lot of different sources have said so.
 
There is fact, there is fiction and there is fantasy. The first you know to be true, the second you know to be not necessarily true, and the third, well the third is what you would like to be true.

Next week, no, I doubt it very much; it's simply wishful thinking on our part. My sources suggest mid October.

That was mean. But anyway, I love speculating as much as the next person but for sanity's sake, let's all say soon as in within 4 weeks.

Then, we can make threads every monday night for "WHOS STAYING UP TO BUY A MBP?"
 
My sources are as speculative as anyone else's. Having said that, this afternoon I called into my local Apple shop to discuss the possible purchase of a MBA at some stage and was advised (by the chap who sold me my MBP last April) to defer any purchase, or any contemplation of same, until mid October.

Of course, it's all speculation; I have no inside knowledge, but I talk to people who know their business, and who can draw informed conclusions.

Looks like nothing on the 23rd

Engadget may have gotten this wrong, Apple would have sent out invitations today...WHY, I was expecting October, then they got my hopes up. I should just assume it will be at Macworld

It could just be a silent update. And invitations could come out later today.
