New Member: Recently purchased an Early "2011" 13" i5 and bought 8 GB of ram from Crucial


...just wanted to ask what systems use the same ram? Will they work on 2010 MBP's or any similar non-Apple computers? I will be trying to sell the 4GB ram that came with the system.

Just wanted to know so I can inform my potential buyers.

I was able to have the Apple store to pricematch Micro Center's sale at $999.

it works in any computer that uses 204 pin DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) RAM

I think they should also work on older MacBooks and MBP that use DDR3 it will just under clock it to 1066. Correct me if I am wrong.
