Hey guys I'm new to this forum and to imac's. I'm currently running my own photography business, and i grew up building PC's. Lately i decided i want an imac 27'', which model would you suggest for me with editing. When i edit pictures i use Adobe Lightroom 4 and play music behind that and maybe a couple browsers up running. I was thinking about just going with the top $2200 with the 3.4ghz i7 with 2gb of ram for video. Do you guys think i should go that route or just get the base 27" i5?

I suggest waiting as there is a refresh (new models) right around the corner. You shouldn't need the extra video memory. I would go with the base 27" once the refresh rolls around, and then upgrade the RAM yourself, to at least 8gb.
