New Mini DisplayPort to Daul Link DVI-D adapter compatibility with TripleHead2Go

Now that the Apple Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI-D adapter has shipped(I have received mine), has anyone tested the device on a Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital Edition? I am curious to know if there are any issues since the number of conductors(20) on the Mini DisplyPort connector doesn't match up with the number of conductors(24) on the Dual Link DVI-D connector. A Dual Link DVI connection uses 24 conductors. So, something must be happening in the Apple box which causes me to wonder if there will be issues of compatibility with the TripleHead2Go and therefore lead to decreased performance and/or quality of the graphics.
