New MLB app is a big step backwards

The updated MLB streaming app is a big disappointment. As far as I can tell, they removed the following functionality:

• Can't start a live game from the beginning.
• No more "catch-up" mode when starting a game mid-way through, to show you the highlights that you missed for a few minutes before bringing you to live.
• No more side-by-side view - can't want two games at once and switch back and forth.

Yeah, I'm not happy with it either; it definitely seems to have some bugginess and missing functionality. For some reason, it always loads with closed captions on, so I have to turn it every time I watch a game.

yep, it’s useless … everything you said and more, and on the new AppleTV remote the skip back/forward buttons don’t work …
