Any body know if a new model of the MacBook Pro coming soon. I'm thinking of buying one soon and don't want to get the old model.

If so what changes would apple do?

Apple is done with their hardware for 2010. While many folks would love to see an update, in the same vein as the MBA, they'll have to wait as HH stated. Most likely first quarter 2011

Wait for the new Intel Sandy Bridge processor due out the 1st quarter of 2011 probably (if you can). It's a major architectural change. If you do a search for Sandy Bridge on Google, you'll find information.

According to the invitation, Intel PC Client Group general manager Mooly Eden will show off the new processors, which will include the "world's fastest processor," at CES, Electronista reports. This. The 17" really is not the cumbersome unless you have muscular dystrophy or something...the screen alone is worth it

I don't get all the people that complain about it... or even the 15"... i find that even harder to believe.

Two words - college desks. My 13" fits about perfectly, and it's nice not to have to buy a bigger backpack for the 17 (mine would only fit a 15)

Very hard to find a backpack to fit a 17". Well at least one that i like.
