I have a 2011 Mac Mini. Just bought a LG 2251VR Monitor

Browsing some websites i noticed that some sites are displayed in 4.3 format and some are 16.9.

Is this normal ? I use Google Chrome

I thought it might be a driver issue but there are no drivers available for the Mac.

Websites aren't 16:9 or 4:3. Websites typically have one of two layouts: fluid layouts which adapt to the size of the browser window, or fixed layouts that define a specific width. Rarely will you find a site that specifies the height of the displayed information, however. What you're seeing is just the difference between fluid and fixed, or different settings for fixed width layouts. It's all up to the designers choices.

Websites don't conform to any size or shape. Just like a document you create, it can be landscape or portrait, or be a greeting card or be a business card. Compare a blog to a restaurant site for example.
