I am looking to buy another monitor to be used with my mac mini that I'm giving to my wife. While researching monitors, some are listed as PC and Mac compatible, and others are listed as only PC compatible.
If I buy any DVI monitor, will it automatically work with my mini? Or do I have to be sure it's advertised as Mac compatible?

Any DVI (or VGA with an adapter for that matter) will work fine. Don't worry about it not having a "Mac badge".

Thanks, I thought so since my old Samsung SyncMaster from my PC worked. I just wanted to be sure before I bought another one.:D

wow, thanks. that looks like a great monitor at a great price! I didn't have time to check, but does it have a DVI and VGA port?

Any DVI monitor will work providing that your mac has that...

I would recommend some HP ones... as they look cool, and have a good colour range... but If you have the money look at some of apples Cinema Displays...
