I have an older 27 inch. Thunderbolt Display 2011? that I would like to replace (it is not bright enough) I am looking for a 4k 32 inch monitor for my mid-2015 15 inch MacBook Pro (which will be replaced) I need high quality for photo editing and managing an Etsy site. I am not a great photographer but I use a DSLR. The monitor has a setting of 2560 x 1440. I use it at 2048 x 1152. I like my fonts and photo's to be large. Budget is approximately to $800.00 but I would go a little higher if it was worth it.

I have read tons of reviews and have looked at some of the threads here and on DPreview, but the more I read the more confused I get. Suggestions?

Hello I bought a 34" LG TB2 Monitor for my MBPro 2014 (old not for sale anymore I believe). I love it. We both have TB 2 ports so you will need a TB 2 monitor. Here is the monitor:

I believe it is no longer available.

They make TB 3 as well:

I do not know if TB2 MBPro can connect to TB 3 monitors.
