Well, the new mbp pro is out, so i am going to buy one...
I am not buying the mbair cause it's too hot for me...
I was wondering if the intel i510gen was going to be cooler thant the I58gen ot the oppposite...Ot if it'll be the same...
And if the I58gen or 10gen can be undervolt on the mac ?
I really want no noise most of the time so i prefer to have an undervolt cpu for my usual tasks. (if necessary)
Which one to you think is the best for that ?

I remember your posts over on the MBA subforum -- I didn't realize you'd actually bought a MBA. Which config did you get (and presumably return)?
i haven't bought mcbook air , i was considerating it but cause of the temperature, i prefer to go with the new mbp hoping it will be quieter and less hot. (didnt want to go the 2019mbp version cause of the keyboard ;-).

Ah. Sounded like you'd had personal experience.

FWIW my MBA remains cool and quiet, as have many folks' MBAs. Those who have had issues aren't necessarily the "rule" of all MBAs. I still say that if anyone's planning sustained CPU usage they should be choosing a MBP, so that may be part of the difference in experiences folks have.

Best of luck in your choice.

I love my 16" macbook pro but it's a friggin air fryer on my desk. If the macbook air is too hot...well...
