hello! i have an offer of trading my nexus s for an iphone 4.

the iphone 4 is on att, the nexus is is on tmobile.

are there any ways of unlocking the iphone 4 on the tmobile network and having 3g working on it?

and how is the battery life on the iphone 4? my nexus s has pretty good battery, it lasts me a full day of heavy heavy use..

thanks!

Need to know what baseband/firmware is on the iPhone 4 in question in order to determine if it can be unlocked or not. And I believe the iPhone 4 will only work on EDGE on T-Mobile (someone correct me if I'm wrong here)

Battery life on the iPhone 4 is quite good IMO.

You can unlock it, depending on the various software versions installed on the phone (mainly the baseband version). You will not be able to have 3G working. The Tmobile 3G frequencies are screwy and non-standard and not supported by the iPhone 4.

Battery life is excellent. With light use I can easily go 2.5 days. With heavy use, I'll get a full day or more out of it.
