This has just started happening after the latest iOS and MacOS updates. When I plug my iPod in to the Mac, a pop up says "A new network interface has been detected" in bold then in lighter type "The iPod USB, network interface has not been set up. To set up this interface use Network Prefs.
If I cancel it it keeps coming back whenever I plug the iPod in, if however I go to network prefs, there's nothing to do. Currently in Network in the side pane it just says "WiFi Connected" I can click the + sign at the bottom and I can choose from the "interface" list 'iPod USB' but that doesn't stop it. And it says Status: Cable Unplugged, even though it's plugged in anyway.
Any clues on why this is suddenly happening and how to stop it? Thanks.
