The following is a tweet from chpwn to comex...an hour ago....

:p

Hopefully this means we're getting closer to a final release

Agreed - I initially read this as someone taunting comex, but I guess it's not.

Also planet being just posted

Finished writing what should hopefully be the "production" payload for the unlock. Now it just needs a loader and a userland app.

Mostly working on the carrier unlock now. For jb, I am working on an important problem, but it is small compared to what @comex is doing.

lol

Thank You, Father AppleJuiced :D

I just kinda wonder what this means to be honest (double rainbow) - if another dev .has created a useful tethered JB ,maybe they should use it. Would probably speed things up and take some weight off the dev team's shoulders.

Honestly, tethered vs untethered JB - I kinda get the feeling that most of the community really isn't concerned one way or another.

I don't know what it all means, Don't know if chpwn is working with comex, the dev-team, or possibly doing some beta testing?

I wish comex or the dev-team would put out a lengthy status report so we knew what was going on! But on the flip side...I'd rather they be dedicating what time they have towards the end result...then satisfying my selfish "needs to know".

I'm looking forward to hearing from MuscleNerd on Sunday (today?). He said he would have news this weekend.

I'm feeling something is going to happen soon. I'm thinking a dev-team JB/unlock release Monday or Tuesday. But...then again I have no track record of predicting these things.

Anyone asked the all telling Octopus?

Paul the Octopus only can give you "yes" or "no" answers, so it might be a little bit difficult asking him. And I heard he's "retired" now. ;)

Retired? What's the retirement age for a squid?

How do you know my first name?

Hehe, Paul is the name of the Octopus! His age already surpassed the life expectancy of an octopus of his kind, and so the zoo where he is living announced he will retire now. ;)
