has anyone been able to add subscriptions into the new iOS 10 news app? This was a feature announced at WWDC but I don't even see a button for it. I'm a premium guardian subscriber and it would be good to add this into the news app to remove the adverts and get guardian notifications from there instead of a separate app.

There's a News app? I wouldn't know being in Canada and having it STILL not available even after making a big deal about it in the iOS 9 keynote and again with an already new design in the iOS 10 keynote.
As for an actual answer. It's probably something that won't be added until officially released. Seeing as it's a service and probably don't have a seperate server for News on official and News on beta. Same happened with iOS 8.4 and the Music redesign for Apple Music. You got the new app but nothing tied to Apple Music worked yet because it wasn't launched.
