New notes writing tools

Just noticed on iPadOS 16.2 a new set of writing tools in Notes with the Apple Pencil - there’s a fountain pen type calligraphy tool, a brushpen and a fine liner.

I can’t recall seeing anything about these in the release notes for ipados16 and hadn’t noticed them before. When did they arrive?

I did not notice the calligraphy tool. Thank you for this info. But I did notice that colored pencil went away. Can you confirm this?

I thought the same initially but t's still there - you can scroll the drawing toolbox to the left, and all the old tools are still there. As far as I can tell these came in with ipadOS16, but I've only noticed them since updating to 16.2.
