Greetings all,

I think its fair to say that most of us have used one of these 'now playing' apps at some point, to display the currently playing track info either on the desktop or pushed out to a social network. I never quite found one that done everything I needed it to, most of them do one thing or the other but not both. So I decided to remedy that situation and write my own :)

Im developing it entirely in AppleScript using Xcode and am considering releasing it for free to anyone who wants it, depending on how much interest there is for it.

Current features are as follows:

- Sits transparently on the desktop, draggable to any location. Can be resized to any size with a toggle.

- Works with iTunes, Spotify, Radium and Rdio. The app will automatically detect all of these players and display their track info. No setup needed and no need to tell it which player you use.

- Displays track, artist and album info.

- Displays full artwork from all of the above players.

- Growl support -- will display track notifications for any of the above players, can be disabled or enabled on a per-app basis, so for example if you only want it to display notifications for Spotify and not iTunes, this can be done.

It currently works very well, Im still working on it though and finishing up the UI work before I can make a public release. If anyones interested in it, please either reply here or pm me.
