The full charge capacity is supposed to be 6330 mah. However, the most I've ever seen it is around 6275. It's usually in the 6200 range and I've seen it go as low as 6025. Is there something wrong with this battery or notebook? These seem like large swings in capacity and I've never seen it at the 6330 rated spec.

How do you use the battery exactly?

And what exact MBP model do you have?

Advertised is 9hrs battery life browsing and I'm struggling to get 8-8.5 if I use the notebook. Reviews have gotten up to 11hrs under conditions I'm using and a friend regularly gets 10 hours with the same model.

This is a ME865LL/A 256gb/8gb model and I only have Safari and Mail open at 75% brightness. Normal browsing news and forums, no streaming or Youtube. Nothing unusual taking up resources in the activity monitor.

The notebook is a few days old and only has 5 cycles on it. Bought it new from Best Buy, but they're now all gone so only option if I have to return this is get a refurb from Apple.
