I just received an email from Apple with three more apps than were announced showing on the home screen. There are also two dots at the bottom indicating that there's another page of apps. Has anyone else received this email? Here'a a pic. They appear to be NY Times, Bejeweled, and Yahoo!.

Hahahahah

Um.
If you watched the keynote, you would know that those are links to specific websites called webclips.

Um.
You're both wrong. Steve Jobs announced that you can now have up to 9 home-screens, obviously for the upcoming SDK. So the first poster has the idea, but no there isn't applications on the second screen.

Zooming in on the picture the three bottom "apps" say "NY Times" "bejeweled" and "Yahoo!" so in this case they are web clips.

Ahhhhh... I don't have an iPod Touch and didn't watch the keynote. So if you tap the Bejeweled icon it'll take you to a web app? That would make since because Bejeweled is a web app for iPhone and iTouch. And the Yahoo! and NY Times are just links to their pages?

That's right. But maybe one day we'll see a native bejeweled app... wishful thinking...
