Hi All,

First post and asking on behalf of my girlfriend.

She really wants to buy an a Macbook, but we don't really have the money for a newer model, so is there anywhere in the UK that you can buy unused older versions of the Macbooks?

Forgive my naivety, but I'm a (*whispers* laptop user) but I wanted to research this for her and this looks like a great place to ask some experts.

Thanks,
Phil

There's always ebay, where you can buy used. Here in the states we have something called craigslist.org - online classifieds. I'm sure the UK has something similar.

Check out the returbs on apple's site as well. You can save some money on those models.

Amazon usually has the cheapest prices for new macbooks in the uk older versions or not, however the prices have shifted up slightly over the last few weeks, cashing in for christmas...
