New OS Snow Leopard on Macbook?

I was wondering if I should wait till Apple release the new OS for the Macbook aluminum?

Does anyone know when this will be launched?

Umm... Snow Leopard will come with iLife '09, and the OS itself will not be $169.

By the time Snow Leopard is launched, new Macs will come with iLife '09.

Snow Leopard may be sold in a box set with iLife '09 + iWork '09.

Snow Leopard itself is unlikely to come with iLife '09.

The last is an educated guess based on what has happened in the past, but as we all know Apple has little regard for what happened in the past.

These are add on programs and are not included with snow leopard, you think people are going to spend hundreds of dollars for these programs and then give them for free with Snow Leopard which at best will cost just over a hundred bucks! Oh Man! There would be just a couple of pissed people.

do you guys/gals think that apple will do the free upgrade for those who bought a new mac or the leopard close to the release of Leopard snow as they did when they went from tiger to leopard? I'm thinking about getting Leopard through school which is discounted but i feel it would be a waste to get it if snow comes out in a few months. I will definitely get non-snow Leopard if there is the upgrade incentive though.
