New OS X Feature: Spaces

In the new feature called Spaces, can you create more than 4 spaces? I know now I have so many things going on at the same time that I use Desktop Manager to create 8 seperate desktops that I switch through. Certain ones have certain things always on them (Mail.app, iTunes, RDP sessions, IM sessions, etc.). I really can't imagine having to live with only 4...

the total is either 16 or 32. i can't remember, but it's at least 16.
