I just bought one of the new Mac Minis with OSX server. From the server point of view, I mostly want it as a home file server (serving a couple of windows laptops and a mac mini media center) with remote access to files/applications as needed. I probably won't use mail/calendar/contacts services, but I will use the webserver and hopefully mobile access server functionality. I'll also be using the machine as a workstation for some iPhone dev on xcode and some general day-to-day use.

I know the server OS is overkill for my needs.

I don't have a static public IP address from my ISP. Will I be able to use a dyndns server and port forwarding to get outside access to files/services?

Does anyone have any hints/tips for the initial setup process that could save me some heartache?

None of the server use will be "mission critical", and as much as anything I just want to have a play around with snow leopard server and see how it all fits together, so I don't really need advice along the lines of "you don't need the server edition" - I know this.

I'd appreciate any help/advice about setup, especially in regards to making services available from the internet.
