New PB's and Apple 30lcd

Does anyone have experience with a new dual link dvi PB and the Apple 30lcd?
 
Not personally, but at the Cherry Creek Apple Store here in Denver they have a 30" display connected to a 17" PowerBook. It worked perfectly. That is to say, it worked like any other display connected to a PowerBook.
