I just got a new pendrive (Transcend 128GB USB 3.0 --this one: http://www.transcend-info.com/Products/No-312 ) and I find its LED works the opposite I'd expect: It's ON when the pendrive is idle, and flashes when it's reading/writing. I'd expect the opposite: OFF when idle, and ON when reading/writing.

What most puzzles me is that when I unmount it, the LED blinks as usual, the pendrive Finder icon disappears as usual, and it's unmounted as usual... but... the LED remains ON!! (no more blinking, just continuously on).

Can this lead towards problems in the future? I bought this pendrive hoping it will last...

I know it shouldn't cause any corruption problems because it's unmounted, but... unplugging a pendrive with the LED on, gives me a cold sweat feeling...
