On my hd i see that i have 168.5 GB available. If i do a re-install and take out the printer drives and languages how much space can i gain?

Anything else un-useful i should not install for more space?

damn, even windows formats 200GB as 186GB....168.5 is just BAD, and I ordered the 200GB 7200 rpm as well.

For some reason after I got my MBP and transferred files over from my PB (the assistant program at startup froze when it was supposed to be done) and now I only have 75gigs free on my 200gig HD. My PB only had an 80gig drive with about 5gigs free. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get my HD space back? I think some of the files it tried to transfer are hiding from me.

try Disk Inventory X (http://www.derlien.com/). it'll show you where space is being taken up.
