New phone to improve phone service?

The plastic backing should help signal strength a bit, i'm not sure to what degree though. Anyway at&t has a 30 day trial period so you can easily just take it home and see if it works. Plus with new voip apps you will be able to get reception in places you couldn't before. Hope that helps!
